One of my favorite clients while I was in L.A. was Julia Louis-Dreyfus who was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2017, two weeks after her record-setting Emmy win for “Veep.”
I have always believed in the brilliance and resilience of women so I am launching the Mitsu Sato Hair Academy “Celebration of Strength” event benefiting the Susan G Komen Foundation of Kansas City for the entire month of May.
Join us for 15% off facials and makeovers. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the amazing work of the Susan G Komen Foundation here in Kansas City.
Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Awareness
Please join us as we amplify our awareness efforts, visibility & programming from today through October 31. Each year our communications team creates one of the most comprehensive content campaigns surrounding National Breast Cancer Awareness Month including 44 days of education, infographics, webinars, Twitter chats, contests, emails, blog posts and more. This content is shared with the entire North Central Region of Susan G. Komen as well as others around the country. This is in addition to the award-winning social and digital campaigns we already have planned for the month of October and beyond. We encourage you to share our education with others (Feel free to note where you got it from as well). Need more or more in-depth information on a topic, event or subject matter? Let us know and we are happy to help.
Susan G Komen Breast Care Helpline
Calls to our breast care helpline 816.842.0410 are answered by a trained and caring staff member Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT. Our helpline provides free, professional support services to anyone with breast cancer questions or concerns, including breast cancer survivors and their families. You can also email the breast care helpline at email@example.com.
Whether you have been recently diagnosed, a long time survivor, co-survivor, a support person or are in need of a free or reduced-cost mammogram we are here to help answer your questions and connected with the right resources as well access to quality care if/when needed.
The Komen Kansas City Breast Care Helpline offers free breast cancer support and resources to anyone with questions or concerns. This is a key component of our mission to save lives from breast cancer as well as our desire to be an immediate resource to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Our program allows for those without means to receive clinical services or, for breast cancer survivors, to be connected with other patient resources which then free them up to focus their financial budget on items such as food for their families, housing, and more daily immediate needs.
