Roseanna Pollina
Educational Director
Roseanna is the Educational Director at Mitsu Sato Hair Academy and has been a vital part of the team since 2015. Trained by Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles, she brings a high level of technical skill and creative excellence to the classroom. Roseanna is a renowned color specialist with an impressive portfolio, earning her the title of Colorist of the Year at the 2022 Midwest Hair Styling Awards. Most recently, she was awarded the prestigious Wella Color Expert Certificate of Achievement in 2024 from the Wella Studio in L.A. She leads the academy's Esthetics and MUD Makeup curriculum, and her passion for education and color continues to inspire both students and fellow professionals.
Elisa Gray
Cosmetology Instructor
Elisa Gray is a seasoned cosmetologist with 39 years of industry experience. For the past 10 years, she has shared her expertise as a cosmetology instructor, helping shape the next generation of beauty professionals. Elisa has been an integral part of the Mitsu Sato Hair Academy team for the last 3 years, bringing her passion, knowledge, and dedication to both students and staff.
Liezel McMurray
Nail Instructor
Liezel McMurray is a licensed nail technician with 21 years of experience in the beauty industry. She graduated in 2003 from an academy in Guam, where she ranked in the top 5 of her class. In 2015, she relocated to Kansas and has successfully operated her own home salon since 2021. Most recently, Liezel completed the Instructor-in-Training program at Mitsu Sato Hair Academy, bringing her talent, dedication, and expertise into the classroom.
Jazlyn Mejia
Esthetics Instructor
Jazlyn Mejia graduated from the Mitsu Sato Hair Academy Esthetics Program in 2024. Knowing early on that she wanted to become an instructor, she quickly pursued and completed the Instructor Training Program soon after graduation. Jazlyn now shares her passion and knowledge in the classroom while continuing to practice esthetics outside of teaching.

Esthetics Instructor
Mercedes is an Esthetics Instructor at Mitsu Sato Hair Academy and a proud graduate of our Esthetics program. She brings a unique blend of warmth, customer service, and hands-on industry knowledge to the classroom, and continues to practice esthetics outside of her role at the academy.
